How To Perform The camel Pose foot lifted Properly
1. Begin in a tabletop position with your hands and knees directly below your hips and shoulders. Make sure that your hands are in line with your shoulders, and your knees are in line with your hips.
2. Exhale as you lift your left foot off the ground, toes pointing back towards yourself, knee at a 90˚ angle for balance. Fix the gaze on an object ahead of you to help maintain balance.
3. Inhale as you lift the opposite arm forward, parallel to the floor and firmly draw the shoulder blades down and in towards one another. Keep the gaze fixed ahead of you as you exhale to hold this pose for 5-10 breaths. Ensure that the entire length of both legs is engaged throughout this pose; if one side feels weaker than another, focus more attention on that side to maintain an even balance.
4. To release the pose, exhale as you return both arms and legs back to Tabletop position and repeat on the other side before relaxing into Child’s Pose for a few breaths after both sides are complete.
