Poses | The Embryo Pose Preparation | Yoga
1. Begin by standing in Tadasana (Mountain Pose) with your feet together, toes pointing forward, and arms at your sides.
2. Inhale and raise your arms up over your head with the palms facing each other, and stretch your body tall. Keep the core engaged and the shoulder blades pressing down against the back ribs.
3. Exhale as you bend your knees deeply and come into a squatting position, bringing the hips towards your heels. Make sure to keep your feet flat on the floor as you lower yourself down.
4. Release the arms forward at shoulder height so that the hands are on either side of your head and interlock all ten fingers together into a fist or mudra (hand gesture). Rest the forehead lightly against your hands in a comfortable position.
5. Stay here for several deep breaths before slowly rising up to stand in Tadasana (Mountain Pose) again when ready
