1. Begin on your hands and knees, with your wrists in line with your shoulders and your knees below your hips.

2. Begin to walk your hands forward, allowing your chest to lower towards the floor, until you reach a comfortable positioning that allows for a long stretch through the spine.

3. Pause here, taking deep breaths and feeling the stretch along the entire length of the spine as you relax into it. You can also lift one arm off the ground and reach it up towards the sky as you look upwards to extend the stretch further if desired.

4. Maintaining steady breaths, slowly begin to come back up by bringing one hand at a time back towards its original position. When you’ve reached this position, take another few deep breaths in puppy pose before gently releasing out of it.
